TW: Sexual consent related issues, use of words and phrases related to sexual abuse, information about rape/sexual abuse.
In this episode I speak about some issues relating to sexual consent from my (female - heterosexual) perspective. I speak about the need for more understanding of and in sexual situations. I touch on the expectation of women to 'choose correctly' and "just say no". I talk briefly about heterosexual relationships in (recent) history and why I think they have paved the way in making it difficult for some women to stand up to men (making a simple "no" not very simple).
I acknowledge these circumstances can happen in all relationships and to and by everyone. Therefore I feel the need to state that it is my comprehensive but female oriented perspective and urge to educate those who may not know the importance of this for many women, that the driving force behind the making of this episode.
