They're the crimes that continue to haunt grieving family members and the wider community - cold case murders.<br><br>Cold Case Western Australia is the official podcast of WA Police Force which examines unsolved murders.<br><br>The series includes in-depth interviews with detectives investigating the cases, and with family members of the victims.<br><br>Cold Case Western Australia is hosted by Neil Poh - a veteran crime reporter and a former media advisor for WA Police Force.<br><br>The series has been commissioned as part of new efforts to obtain information from the public about this confronting, unsolved murders.</p>
Annette Deverell had been enjoying a night out with friends in Mandurah on Saturday 13 September 1980.
She was last seen talking to an unidentified blonde man near the Mandurah Post Office, and was reported missing by family the following day.
Her remains were found in bush 35km south east if Mandurah more than two years later.
Annette's family, friends, and detectives close to the case believe someone with local knowledge would have been involved.

Laura Muckersie was 20-years-old when she was found deceased in a Swan View drain on 31 July 2001.
She met with several friends on the afternoon and night of 30 July, and made phone calls from a phone box on Morrison Road – the last known contact with her.

Andrew Podpinka was home alone on 4 March 1999 when he suffered multiple stab wounds that caused his death.
Originally from Poland, Mr Podpinka lived with various health issues. His wife and daughter had gone shopping about 1.30pm that day, and a neighbour reported seeing Mr Podpinka at the front of his home about 2.45pm.
When Mr Podpinka’s wife and daughter returned home about 3.45pm, they found his body on the bedroom floor.
