A long chat where I share why creating for yourself first is so important. For our health and VITALITY.

I share some thoughts on how reconnecting with our own creativity and truth can actually help you feel more alive, especially with everything going on—motherhood, tech influences, life.

Sharing my life and mana'o (thoughts) as of late... but ultimately inviting you to

In this episode, I share how I’ve worked across various industries and always gave away a lot of credit—praising others, lifting them up, and always making sure everyone else looked good. I thought that was the right thing to do, but I soon realized that in doing so, I was dimming my own light and forgetting that I am the secret, the magic, the sauce behind my success.

Finding the balance between gratitude and recognizing your own power is key. You can be thankful for others while still owning your role in the wins. It’s about understanding that your success is rooted in who you’re being, in your unique essence, and that owning your power doesn’t diminish your humility—it amplifies it.

This is for anyone who’s struggled with giving too much credit away, playing small, or forgetting that your magic is what makes everything work. Let’s dive into how to honor gratitude without losing sight of the incredible force that is you.

After leaving a demanding religion, it can be overwhelming to reconnect with the Divine, especially if you've been taught to fear anything outside the church's teachings. This is where storytelling can play a crucial role in the healing process. Sharing our stories allows us to process our experiences, challenge old beliefs, and redefine our understanding of spirituality in a way that feels safe and authentic.

In this episode, I discuss why storytelling is such an important tool for healing. It offers a gentle way to explore our feelings and encourages us to embrace the idea of the Divine on our own terms, free from the fear instilled by previous teachings. This mini-series holds special significance for me as it reflects my personal journey of transformation and the empowerment that comes from finding one’s unique spiritual path.

I also share about the Goddess I began working with first and how her influence has helped me navigate this new relationship with the Divine. By embracing her stories and qualities, I found the courage to move beyond fear and step into a more loving and supportive understanding of spirituality.

If you connected with today’s conversation about healing, storytelling, and exploring the Goddess within, I would love to hear from you. Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments or reach out on social media. Let’s continue to support each other on this journey of self-discovery and spirituality. Thank you for being part of this community!

"OKAAAAY, but Are you happy?"

It’s a simple question, but one that can spark a profound journey of self-reflection. In this episode of “The Real Rebellion: Finding Fulfillment Outside the Media’s Grip,” I invite you to step into a playful exploration of what true happiness means in a world buzzing with noise and chaos. I’ll unravel the intricate dance between societal expectations and personal joy, examining how so many people get swept away in the tide of media influence that often drowns out our inner voices.

Embracing a concept I like to call a “quiet rebellion,” I delve into the art of living simply and authentically as a delightful act of defiance against the busy, bustling world around us. Heartwarming stories and anecdotes from women who have found their bliss at home illuminate the beauty in simplicity, proving that sometimes the greatest adventure lies in a peaceful cup of tea and a well-tended garden.

Through playful banter and thoughtful reflections, I’ll pose some big questions that linger in the back of your mind: What does happiness truly look like for you? How can you reclaim your time and vitality from the grips of external pressures?

I encourage you to reflect on these questions and share your thoughts with me! Connect with me on Substack or leave a comment to let me know how you’re navigating the journey toward fulfillment and happiness. I can’t wait to hear about your own experiences and insights!

In this episode, we explore the journey of “embodying the Ma” and embracing fullness in body, mind, and spirit.

I’ll share personal stories and yogic wisdom while reflecting on societal pressures around body image and femininity.

We’ll discuss attachments to the maiden archetype and how these can impact self-identity. I’ll share my experience with perimenopause, including weight gain and how trauma has affected my perspective on aging.

We’ll touch on the importance of embracing fullness—not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually—as part of our lives. Additionally, we’ll examine cultural narratives that pressure women to shrink while celebrating the rebellious choice to embody our true selves.

This one is a reminder to me, to you to really emphasize the need to model self-acceptance and positivity for our families, encouraging us all to nurture wholeness in our daily lives. Join me as we reflect on embodying the fullness in every season of being a woman.

In this candid and free-flowing episode, I open up about my own transformative journey toward embodiment—a path filled with conflicting teachings and profound self-discovery.

Please be aware that some of the topics we explore may stir tender feelings, especially for those who have experienced abuse or cultural and religious harm. I invite you to pause and take care of yourself as needed.

Throughout this raw sharing, I delve into:

This episode is given in the spirit of conscious choice and the weaving of realities. Way back when I gave the biggest disclaimer upon starting a show and I wanna hana HOU: I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE MY MIND! (I laugh AND im dead serious)

I do believe whole heartedly in the power of women coming together to support one another, to offer support and love and ALSO I believe it is a choice to call in FAMILY. There IS a sisterhood, there is a brotherhood, there is a GLOBAL ohana and STILL there is conscious choice to what those words, and those structures can mean to each individual.

Mahalo for listening to my mana'o (thoughts) on this. xx

and Finally the MOMENTUM is building once again. I have been in deep creation mode, and though much has exited and been stripped away in this season post 8/8 Maui Fires, this show remains, and I am grateful to those of you who continue to support and listen in. *major tears and heartfelt gratitude.
