On May 22nd, Kenya's President made a historic 4-Day  State  visit to Biden's Whitehouse. No Kenyan president has ever been hosted for State visit in the US, making Ruto the first. This has reaffirmed his ever-growing global political stardom. However, his visit has been questioned by many Kenyan opposition politicians and Kenyans in general, because of bloated budget for the visit and persistence on intervening in Haiti with Kenya police force. But on the other hand, many also believe the visit was worth the cost. In this episode, I express my comfort and support for president's chase for global clout  which even as of now, have already  attracted investment deals to Kenya. For example, G42, US international finance corporation have announced their plans to set their business operations in Kenya utilizing Kenya's clean energy advantage, Geothermal. Moreover, various bilateral strategic partnerships spanning education, security, defense and trade  between Kenya and the US.

Just before the world healed from Covid 19 pandemic, Russia's president, Putin waged a territorial war against  its historical neighbor Ukraine with an aim of annexing regions in Eastern Ukriane whose populations are  predominantly russian. Given the visible economic and miltary power  assymtries between the  two countries, many countries, experts and Putin thought that this was to end in few moments after as Russia was evidently  percieved  as significantly capable of annexing those Ukrainian territories as he did years ago with Crimea. But to date, the russian agression still continues, which means that the war is still on and has shockingly challenged Putin's expectations about this war. This therefore means, even to a person that don't follow closely on this war, that he  in deed got many things wrong about this war before he started it.

In this episode, I broadly discuss how I think Putin did serious miscalculations before te aggression. Listen, rate and follow my account in spotify.

In this episode,  I pose  a very  confusing  question that many are yet to answer, 'when did the Asian Tigers, majorly Hong Kon, South Korea, Taiwan and most importantly Singapore outpaced Kenya in the race towards  economic prosperity . All of them were colonised and  still under the influnece of imperial foreign powers, a history shared with majority of African countries particularly Kenya except their  rapid economic development since 1970s.  Kenya's  president, Ruto, has made it one of his key regime's  agenda to transform Kenya to become the next Singapore of Africa. Although this seems to be a desirable goal to kenyans, many thinks that it is nearly impossible to achieve due to less political will among leaders reponsible for making brave  decisions that could transform this country into  a first world country. Tell me what you think.

Since the kenyan veteran opposition politician  announced his state-sponsored bid for AU Chairmanship, he has been on the Kenya's political sidelines due to his attention to campaigns in various African countries. The bid which is solidly supported by president Ruto started a warm relationship between the the duo. This made many kenyans believe that Raila was to reduce his opposition politicking against the government. However, kenyans' expectations were challenged when Raila, yesterday,  went on a long lecture to Ruto and his cabinet which he termed as incompetent having failed to adress economic issues plus the poor crisis response to the ongoing raging floods across the country.  His longwinded tirades to Ruto's government sparked confusion among the kenyan people. Is this signalling a fallout of the newfound bromance. What do you think?

It is beyond any reasonable doubt that with the current rapid development of Artificial General Intelligence, every aspect of human life will be significantly altered in the nearest conceivable future as it already has. The consequence is evidently permiating into every aspects of human  life  spannning from education, health, information, politics, cultures, relationship  etcetera. In episode 7 of this podcast, I speak  my concerns on AGI's  impacts both in the now and in the future.  My deepest worry is that many countries in Africa, Kenya in particluar, have not escalated discourse and debates about the grevious economic and political  effects AI will potentially produce. Western countries and advanced couuntries in general are already taking steps to regualte the development of AGI to salavage their populations from potential harms of AI. Listen and Comment. Thank you.

After the horrible attack on Isrealis by Palestine's Hamas, there has been a gruesome retailiation from the victim state of Isreal.  This retaliation has claimed many palestinian lives which has since sparked mixed thoughts on response from  the international community. Some countries have expreesed reproach on Isreal continued aggression in the name of self defense while some countries reaffrims their continued support to the state of Israel.

A tycoon businessman, Narendra Raval, during the commissioning of a multibillion-dollar project in West Pokot, recently made a controversial political statement that he wished President Ruto would be president for the next 25 years. This statement has elicited mixed reactions and hot political debate in the country in regards to the possibility of the status quo of a 5-year presidential term limit being altered to another one.
The following is my assessment of the situation:
