This is the first instalment of 3 part episode Future Cities; Re-imagining Kathmandu where we discuss public spaces, and unmanaged rapid urbanisation of Kathmandu valley. Abhas Maskey is an aerospace engineer /scientist and his current work mainly involves satellites. He is doing his PhD in Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, where he is BIRDS-3 satellite project manager and responsible for Nepal's first satellite, Nepalisat-1.
