Dr. RuthAnn Lobos is a veterinarian who works for Purina and is a runner! She serves as the Senior veterinarian for Purina Pet Care. She lives in Boulder and spends her free time running marathons! She is also an avid triathlete. She has run Boston three times, completed more than 25 marathons, and has served as an official pace group leader for the Austin Marathon four times. She has completed three Half Ironmans. She has a love for running and animals and it was so much fun to hear all about that in this episode!

Rose Harvey burst onto the professional running scene after starting to run during the pandemic in 2020 and discovered a hidden talent! She did not grow up a runner or compete in high school or college. She just ran a 2:23:21 and placed 9th at the Chicago Marathon. Previously she was working as a finance lawyer and now runs professionally for Puma. Rose is from the UK and also hosts half of the podcast 5 Miles Easy.
Ben has been on the show before! He was a phenomenal pacer once again for the Chicago Marathon and paced a large group of women and men and Rose was one of those in the group! Ben is the dad of three young kids and his wife, Stephanie, just gave birth to their little girl! Ben is with Hoka NAZ Elite and now supports the team and paces the team in a lot of workouts!

Dakotah Lindwurm and Sara Vaughn are on the podcast today! They both ran PRs at the Chicago Marathon and I loved hearing their recaps on this episode!
Sara ran a 2:23:24 which was a 3 minute PR and placed 10th. Sara debuted the marathon in 2021, running a 2:26:53. Last year at Chicago she was 7th place and ran a 2:26:23. She is the mom of four and is a realtor. In this episode, she talks about taking risks this year in her training ahead of Chicago! Sara comes from a 1500m background. Sara has been on the podcast so many times – episodes 283, 302, 341, 416, 443.
Dakotah smiles the entire marathon and it is so much fun to watch! She truly loves what she gets to do while performing. She was previously on episode 398 after she won the 2022 Grandma’s Marathon in a time of 2:25:01. This year in Chicago she ran a 2:24:40 which was a 35 second PR and 12th place overall.

Deena has long list of incredible accomplishments, including previously being the American Record holder in the marathon with a time of 2:19:36. She is a 3-time Olympian and won a bronze medal in the 2004 Olympic in Athens and also has won both the London and the Chicago Marathon. She also holds a 5,000m PR of 14:51 and 10,000m of 30:50.
