Record FM Uganda is at 97.7MHz, formed in 2010 and covering central, western, and southern Uganda plus some of northern Uganda. Their slogan is "Tusabula Hits All Day" (loosely translated as "We Play Hits All Day").

Uganda Performing Right Society(UPRS) has explained why artistes have not yet received their money and also emphasizes that non members will not receive anything even with hit songs noting that registration is totally free.

While appearing on the Urban Vibes show on 97.7 Record FM show hosted by Jiame Josh, Ms. Nakintu Maureen  appreciated UCC for making the UPRS certificate mandatory for any media house to renew or acquire a broadcasting license, so all media houses will pay their royalties which she says was a major  hinderance as many of them have been non-compliant resulting into a minimal collection.

Omulangira Ssuuna in his first ever interview after dragging journalists Kaiyz, Makko, & Wako to court, told Record FM 97.7 that he had been told worse things but he realised it was time to act. OS says he is happy with the changes that happened in the media but wasn't happy seeing the boys behind bars. He also confessed that he never saw the other 11 TV entertainment programs regulated.
